Tinnitus Clinic

Living with tinnitus (noises in the ears or head) can be very difficult and distressing. In our Tinnitus Clinic we take a patient centred approach to help individuals to better understand and manage their tinnitus.

Prior to the appointment we ask patients to complete questionnaires which enables us to begin to gain an understanding of their individual situation. The consultation usually includes a hearing assessment and some additional tinnitus specific tests. We discuss the patient’s own tinnitus and develop a highly personalised management plan to assist with the tinnitus going forward.

The management strategies offered are multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary, utilising the most up to date research and recommendations in the field.
