New patient administration fee

A new patient registration fee of $95 dollars is to be paid upon first attending Melbourne Hearing Care Clinic. Please note that this fee is waived for individuals on commonwealth issued health care cards and pensioner concession card holders (seniors cards excluded).

Medicare

Medicare rebates are available for selected audiology tests; however, in most cases, as a mixed billing practice, an out-of-pocket fee will still apply. Please ensure your Medicare details are provided prior to your first visit, or bring your Medicare card with you to your appointment.

We are a registered HSP provider. Pensioner Concession Card and DVA Gold/White Card holders may receive subsidised services and devices. Please advise us at booking if you hold an HSP voucher. To learn more visit: hearingservices.gov.au ↗

Funding Agencies

At Melbourne Hearing Care Clinic we can directly invoice other funding bodies such as TAC, Workcover or NDIS on your behalf. Please let us know who you are covered by prior to your first appointment with us and we will confirm whether we are an approved provider.

Private Health Insurance Claims

We are currently unable to process Private Health Insurance rebates for hearing devices directly. We will provide you with the required invoice receipts so you can claim at a later date.

Please note: It is your responsibility to be aware of any PHI benefits you are entitled to prior to purchasing any devices.
